'Gem’s Walking on the Ridge’ (Ridge) was purchased in utero by Jason and Cari Funkhouser, Townsend, MT. They came by way of wanting a Rylea baby, by watching her progeny, including Gemocha and Eva, perform at the Montana Mule Days. They waited over a year for this baby, and it was well worth the wait. He is a leggy, light-colored dun John mule with fancy leg barring and a dorsal stripe. He is one big baby, weighing in at 110 lbs. Rylea predictably gives us stunning-headed, good-minded, athletic babies. Her babies are also proven in the show ring and on the trails. We are excited to see Jason and Cari Funkhouser aspire to achieve their goals with this phenomenal baby.

‘Gem’s Dun Rung the Bell’ (Festus) was just what his new owner, Kevin Simanski, Red Wing, MN had hoped for. He purchased this baby ‘in utero’ and was thrilled with the outcome. A stunning Dun john mule, with fancy leg barring, dorsal stripe, and a beautiful, dished head. His cow-bred, Foundation Quarter horse dam, Bella Luna CF, put her stamp on this baby, as he is especially friendly and already great with the grandkids! Festus was a pleasure to work with during his short time with us, accepting all the paces we put our babies through in our unique training program. Kevin plans to train to him to pull a cart as he also owns a yearling mule who’s color matches up perfectly. I think Kevin and Festus are the perfect match as they have already bonded and will be a beautiful team!
